GIANT REVERSE. WHAT!?

GIANT REVERSE. WHAT!?

FIRST GOAL ON THE MICROFORMER: Figure out how to balance on it without falling off + bashing your face into the floor. SECOND GOAL ON THE MICROFORMER: Learn the names of all of the moves and what the F*CK reverse, giant, and giant reverse mean!

The FRONT of the microformer is the end of the machine where the springs live.

Confused? Let’s start with the basics:

FIRST GOAL ON THE MICROFORMER: Figure out how to balance on it without falling off + bashing your face into the floor. SECOND GOAL ON THE MICROFORMER: Learn the names of all of the moves and what the F*CK reverse, giant, and giant reverse mean!

Confused? Let’s start with the basics:

The FRONT of the microformer is the end of the machine where the springs live.

The BACK of the microformer is the end of the machine closest to the #4.

Now that we know where things are, HERE’S THE LOWDOWN ON THE HARDER SH*T:

If you hear the word “REVERSE” before the name of an exercise, you do it on the FRONT of the machine FACING the back.

All straight up so far, but we know what you’re thinking, what happens when the instructor throws you a “GIANT + REVERSE” at the same time?! You smash that SH*T together!! Take the giant cue + head to the back! Stay facing the back of the machine + you’ve got it! So for a Giant Reverse Wheelbarrow, you’ll have your hands on the back platform + your knees on the carriage.

If your instructor doesn’t use a directional clue + instead says the name of the exercise alone “wheelbarrow” you’re on the front of the machine facing the front. Hands on the front platform + knees on the carriage.

FIRST STEP: Start by memorizing the directional clues of GIANT and REVERSE. This will allow you to set your body up in the correct position without having to know every single lagree move.
